Tehran has made another big news after the occupation forces Israel and the US jointly attacked Iran. The country's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have shot down another US warplane. However, Washington denied the claim.

Iran's semi-official news agency Tasnim News reported in a report that the IRGC claimed to have shot down a US F-15 Eagle Strike fighter near the country's southwestern border. However, the US military claims that such reports are baseless.

Citing the IRGC, Tasnim said that the two-seater warplane was targeted and crashed. Although it did not specify when the incident occurred.

The US Central Command, or CENTCOM, said in a post on the social media platform X that a 'rumor' circulating on social media that a US F-15 Eagle Strike fighter jet had crashed in Iran early Wednesday (March 4) was baseless and untrue.

Earlier, the IRGC had claimed to have shot down a US F-15 Eagle Strike fighter jet over Kuwait. It was later learned that at least three jets were shot down. Although the US later claimed that they were destroyed by its own attack in the wrong order.
