A leaked FBI document has revealed explosive information about Jeffrey Epstein, claiming that the controversial tycoon was trained as a 'spy' under former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
A 2020 classified document, citing an anonymous source, said that Epstein originally worked as an agent for the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. The document states that notes of Epstein's phone conversations with Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz were passed to the Mossad. Dershowitz himself was influenced by the Mossad and believed that Epstein was part of US and allied intelligence agencies.
The sensational document also states that the Silicon Valley company 'Day One Ventures', founded by Epstein's former public relations officer Masha Butcher, was mainly working for the purpose of stealing technology.
The source claims that Masha Butcher had close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The documents also reveal Israel's deep ties and business dealings with Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner's family and his father, Charles Kushner.
Other recently released documents show that Epstein had a long-standing business and personal relationship with Ehud Barak, where they discussed various technology companies and world leaders.
Israel's current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly criticized Ehud Barak in response to the allegations. In a post on social media, he claimed that Barak's closeness to Epstein does not prove that Epstein was working for Israel.
Instead, he accused Barak of long-standing attempts to undermine Israeli democracy and join hands with the far-left to overthrow the elected government. Netanyahu said Barak's personal interests were what brought him into contact with people like Epstein.
The documents also show that Ehud Barak and Epstein discussed consulting fees and other international political appointments for former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. The FBI's "Confidential Human Source" report was originally prepared as part of an investigation into foreign influence in the US election process. Although the allegations are still widely debated, they have now elevated the Epstein case to the level of an international intelligence battle.
