BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has urged everyone to be careful in the February 12 election. The BNP candidate for Chittagong-11 (Bandar-Patenga) constituency said that various issues are coming up in newspapers and social media. A group is printing ballots, making burqas, taking NID cards (national identity cards), and taking mobile numbers to send money to bKash.

He said that they cannot do anything by doing these things, because the people will not be confused by these. Everyone should be careful keeping these issues in mind.

He said these things at a press conference organized at his residence in Mehedibagh, Chittagong city around 11 am on Monday (February 9). At the same time, Amir Khasru also made 11-point promises for his constituency.

He said that they did not want elections. They do not have trust in the people. If they try to come to power through the back door at this time, the democracy-loving people of Bangladesh will reject them and the people will answer them through the ballot.

Amir Khasru said that a mass tide has been created in favor of BNP all over the country, including Chittagong. Seeing this mass tide, a group has started a conspiracy. Those who will not be able to come to power with the people's vote are the ones who are conspiring. For this, everyone must be careful.

Amir Khasru's 11-point development plan for his constituency is - to build a 1200-bed hospital in his area to ensure modern and people-friendly treatment. To create employment and self-reliance for the youth, to ensure safe areas by introducing a strong law and order system, to resolve the water crisis, to build a waterlogged Chittagong, to make a traffic-congestion-free city, to control environmental and air pollution, to build sustainable and safe roads, to make arrangements for the modernization of Chittagong Port, to provide easy and integrated citizen services, and above all to implement a long-term urban plan to develop Chittagong-11 constituency as a planned, modern and advanced city through planned and modern urbanization.

The press conference was attended by BNP city member secretary Nazimur Rahman, former general secretary Abul Hashem Bakkar, joint secretary SM Saiful Alam, former special PP advocate Ahmed Kamrul Islam Chowdhury Sajjad and BNP international affairs sub-committee member Israfil Khasru, son of Amir Khasru.
