Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, "There was no negotiation on Tehran's missile program during the Iran-US talks held in Oman on Friday." He also reminded Tehran of its "borders" and warned against any possible attack by the US.

Araghchi said these things in an interview with the Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera. He published a short video footage of the interview on his Telegram account.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said, there was no negotiation on Tehran's missile program during the Iran-US talks held in Oman on Friday. According to him, the program was "never a subject of negotiation." Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Minister warned that if the US attacks Iranian territory, Tehran will also target US military bases in the region.

Among them, the two main US negotiators for the Iran-US talks, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, visited the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea. This is seen as a sign of a possible US military action in Iran. The US Central Command also said in a post on social media that the two top US officials visited the nuclear-powered warship.

Abbas Araghchi commented yesterday that the ‘indirect’ talks between Iran and the US in Muscat, Oman, were ‘a good opportunity’. Describing the talks as a ‘good start’, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that there is a long way to go to build mutual trust.

Araghchi told Al Jazeera that the nuclear enrichment program is Iran’s ‘inalienable right’ and it must continue. He added, ‘We are ready to reach a convincing agreement on this program.’

The Iranian Foreign Minister also said that the country’s nuclear issue can only be resolved through negotiations. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said on Friday that Washington had "very good talks" on the Iran issue. He also expressed hope that there would be more talks with Iran in the future.

Nevertheless, Trump signed an executive order yesterday. In that order, he ordered the imposition of new sanctions against Tehran's oil transportation-related companies and ships.
