The Times of Israel reported that Ayman Odeh, chairman of the Hadash-Ta'al party, held a sign calling for 'recognition of Palestine'. He was later expelled from the Knesset.
According to the BBC, Odeh held up a banner and called on Trump to recognize Palestine. Then, several people immediately ran towards him. At that time, the banner was snatched from him and he was quickly removed. Later, it was learned that MP Ofer Kassif was also taken out with him.
President Trump said at the time of the incident, "It was done very skillfully." In his speech to the Knesset, Trump said that today is the "historic dawn" of a new Middle East. The US president thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He called him "a man of extraordinary courage." At that time, many members of parliament shouted Netanyahu's nickname "Bibi." Trump then said that now Israel's "golden age will come" and it will also be a "golden age" for the entire region.
