Despite Trump's instructions, barbaric Israel has continued to attack Gaza and kill innocent Palestinians. At least 70 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli bombings in the last 24 hours. The Palestinian independence movement Hamas has condemned this ongoing barbarity. It has accused the Israeli warlord Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of reducing attacks on civilians in Gaza of lying.

Mehr news agency reported this information in a report on Sunday (October 5) citing a Hamas statement.

In a statement, Hamas said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) are carrying out horrific crimes and massacres in various parts of the Gaza Strip. Since this morning alone, 70 Palestinians have been killed in attacks, including women and children.

The organization called it a “bloody provocation,” saying it was a manifestation of the occupation government’s deceit and hypocrisy.

Hamas also called on the international community and Arab and Islamic countries to fulfill their legal and humanitarian responsibilities to protect and assist the Palestinian people and to exert maximum pressure on the occupying forces to end the ongoing genocide and the siege of Gaza.

Hamas also called on free-thinking people around the world to strengthen solidarity with the Palestinian people and to create pressure against the occupation’s policies of genocide and collective punishment.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel had agreed to a preliminary agreement to withdraw its troops as part of ongoing talks for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that the proposal had been conveyed to Hamas. If Hamas agrees, the ceasefire will take effect immediately, along with the prisoner exchange process.

He added that the plan would “create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal” and lead the conflict “towards an end to this three-year catastrophe.” Source: Al Mayadeen
