Bangladeshi team draws against Argentine club

Bangladesh's Red Green Future Stars team drew 1-1 against Argentine club Atletico Charlone in the Latin Bangla Super Cup. The hosts took the lead in the first half with a goal from Mohammad Manik. However, Atletico Charlone equalized in the second half with a goal from Alan Sarmiento.
The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute of the match held at the Dhaka National Stadium on Monday (December 8). Casper Haque took the ball from the midfield with a solo effort to Charlone's D-box. Later, a one-to-one pass, from there Mohammad Manik got the ball in the D-box and put the team ahead.
Atletico Charlone made a good attack in the 18th minute. Red Green Future Stars survived that journey thanks to Casper Haque's determination. Manik scored again in the 31st minute. It was disallowed for offside. Later, Manik got another chance in the D-box. He shot it far over the goalpost.
The Argentine club, who were trailing 1-0, came back to equalize after the break. Charlton's Alan Sarmiento scored the goal, 1-1. In the 74th minute, Habib Redwan of Bangladesh and two Argentine players were shown red cards for scuffling. Some tension spread between the two teams.
In the 86th minute, the hosts got a free kick just before the D-box. The shot from there hit the goalkeeper's hand, denying the Bangladesh team. However, Charlton's goalkeeper was slightly injured. In the 93rd minute, Hedayetullah sent the ball back from the goal of Argentina's sure shot, saving the hosts. And the game ended in a draw.
