This year's UEFA Champions League is a bit different. Not much has happened as expected by fans and football analysts. Real Madrid and PSG could not directly advance to the last 16. So they passed the play-offs and got a place in the next round. They are not at ease in the last 16 either.

The draw for the rest of the Champions League was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday. Where Real Madrid's opponent is Manchester City again, while PSG will face Chelsea.

Spanish champions Barcelona will also face English club Newcastle United in the last 16. However, in this round, multiple clubs from the same country will not play each other; there is a possibility of breaking that rule in the quarter-finals.

The duel between Real Madrid and Manchester City is a big attraction of the Champions League. They are meeting for the fifth time in a row for Europe's top trophy. The rivalry between PSG and Chelsea is also familiar - the two teams met in the last FIFA Club World Cup and the previous three Champions League knockout rounds.

The other teams in the last 16 have been given relatively easy opponents. In the quarter-finals, Liverpool will face Galatasaray, Arsenal will face Leverkusen, Bayern Munich will face Atalanta, Atletico Madrid will face Tottenham and Norwegian surprise Bodo/Glimt will face Sporting CP.

The last 16 matches will be held on 10-11 and 17-18 March, the quarter-finals on 7-8 and 14-15 April, the semi-finals on 28-29 April and 5-6 May and the final on 30 May in Budapest, Hungary.
