‘Make an agreement before marriage’

Celina Jaitley is going through family problems. The actress is facing a divorce case. In a recent interview with India Today, Celina had said that her husband forced her to hand over all her properties before the divorce.

Naturally, she has nothing left. So Celina has given a special message to all single women.

Celina has requested unmarried women to keep their properties separate. The actress said, ‘I would request all the girls if you have your own properties, then make an agreement before marriage. Keep all your properties separate. You know, in the end, everything comes down to property. Love, commitment, birth and death, children, everything comes down to one property, and this is the biggest cause of suffering.’

Celina had earlier also said that on her 15th wedding anniversary, she received a divorce paper as a gift from her husband. During a difficult time in her life, she was forced to hand over property worth Rs 20 crore to her husband. That relationship also fell apart.

Selena married Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag in 2010. The couple had twin sons, Winston and Biraj, in 2012, and another son, Arthur, in 2017. They had another twin son, Shamsher, who died of a heart attack.

In November 2025, Selena filed a case against Peter under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, alleging that she was a victim of constant domestic violence. She also alleged that she was not allowed to see her children despite the couple having joint custody arrangements.

Later, in May this year, Mumbai-based law firm Semwal & Co. said that Selena had filed a defamation suit against her estranged husband Peter Haag and his father, DI Wolfgang J., for allegedly making defamatory comments in interviews and on social media during the ongoing divorce and child custody case.
