Shobeir single-handedly stopped Argentina in the first half

Lionel Messi's Argentina took to the field today in the last 16 match of the World Cup. The opponent is the African team Egypt. Egypt's goalkeeper Mohamed Shobeir became the hero in this match in the first half.
Argentina had problems in the midfield at the beginning of the match. The team lost the ball twice in the first 5 minutes due to positional errors. Egypt took the lead in the 14th minute. Yasser Ibrahim scored a goal by heading a free kick from a corner.
Shobeir's show began after that. Argentina got a penalty in the 19th minute. Niklas Tagliafico was fouled inside the box. Messi came to take the spot kick. He took a shot to the right. But Shobeir jumped in the right direction and blocked the ball.
Argentina did not stop even after the penalty miss. De Paul crossed into the box from the right. McAllister headed the ball in from close range, but Shobeir saved it from point blank range.
Argentina were awarded a free kick from outside the box in the 30th minute. Messi's superb shot hit the left post. It would have been a little further in, but Shobeir would have jumped in the right direction and gone close.
Then Julian Alvarez received a pass from Tagliafico in the box. Shobeir also blocked his powerful shot. The ball touched his hand and went outside the post.
At the end of the first half, Argentina went into the break trailing by one goal. Egypt goalkeeper Mohamed Shobeir kept the team in front throughout the first half.
