Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that Israel has no deep disagreements or rifts with the United States. While talking to the US media, he strongly rejected any demand for distance with US President Donald Trump.
Netanyahu admitted that there may be differences of opinion between the two countries on some issues, but that does not mean that there is a major rift in the relationship. He stressed that their views and thoughts are the same on almost every important issue.
Stating that his personal relationship with Donald Trump is very good, the Israeli Prime Minister said that the relationship between them is completely normal and excellent. As two friendly countries that respect each other, if there is a difference on any issue, they have specific ways and capabilities to resolve it through negotiations.
US President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Turkey in the meantime. Ahead of Trump's visit to Ankara, Netanyahu reiterated his tough stance on the sale of the US's advanced F-35 fighter jets to Ankara. He made it clear that Israel strongly opposes any move to sell the jets to Turkey.
