Reasons why Shakira is not coming to India

Pop star Shakira has canceled her India tour. This has disappointed millions of fans of the pop queen. Shakira was supposed to perform on Indian soil after a long 19 years. There was excitement surrounding her tour. But she was forced to cancel the tour at the last minute due to security concerns.

Shakira was supposed to perform two shows on April 10 and 15. Later, considering the demand of the fans, another show was added on April 11 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. There were also plans to hold a concert in Delhi.

The ticket prices for these concerts started at 6 thousand rupees, which reached lakhs of rupees for the highest VIP class. Thousands of fans had already collected tickets hoping to see their favorite artist live. Many had also booked flights and hotels in advance.

However, the sudden announcement of the cancellation of the tour turned that joy into sadness in an instant. The organizers said the decision was made due to security concerns caused by ongoing conflicts in West Asia.

The statement said the safety of fans and artists is the top priority. Those who have already purchased tickets will be refunded within the next five to seven days.

A specific date for when the concert will be rescheduled has not yet been announced.
