Tasrif Khan has demanded justice for the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi.

The murder of Sharif Osman Hadi, an independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency in the 13th National Parliament election and spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, is being discussed across the country. Popular singer Tasrif Khan has been vocal on social media regarding this incident. In one Facebook post after another, he has not only expressed grief, but also protested in strong language against the culture of impunity. The singer has posted one after another on Facebook. In that vein, Tasrif Khan reacted in a new post on Wednesday (January 14). There, he wrote, "Regretfully, our brother Abrar and Hadi gave their lives for an unfaithful nation." He also wrote in the comment box of the post, "Those of you who remained silent demanding justice for the murder of our brother Hadi, this silence will one day become black for you too." I have kept you in my sight, I have kept you in my memory. Remember, the father does not leave you in sin.

This post and comment by Tasrif Khan have already received a huge response on social media. Many people see his statement as a brave, timely and protesting voice. It is worth noting that on December 12, miscreants opened fire on Sharif Osman Hadi in the Box Culvert area of ​​Bijaynagar in the capital. Hadi, who was seriously injured in the gunshot wound, was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Later, he was transferred to Evercare Hospital. Although Sharif Osman Hadi was taken to Singapore on December 15 for advanced treatment, he died on the night of December 18 while undergoing treatment there.

The body of the deceased Sharif Osman Hadi was brought to the country on the evening of December 19. His funeral was held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on the afternoon of December 20. Lakhs of people attended the funeral. Later, he was buried at the premises of Dhaka University Central Mosque and next to the grave of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
