On the screen, he is the world-shaking superhero 'Thor' with a hammer in his hand. Millions of fans are eager to catch a glimpse of him. But in his own home, Chris Hemsworth's pomp is worthless! The popular Hollywood actor recently said that his children are not bothered at all by the actor's global fame.
In an interview with the entertainment media 'People', Chris Hemsworth jokingly said that when his three children first came to know that their father was 'Thor' of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they were quite excited. But that excitement did not last long.
In Hemsworth's words, 'They thought it was great at first. But when they realized that I couldn't actually fly, they lost interest in me.'
Chris Hemsworth and his wife, actress Elsa Pataky, have three children—13-year-old daughter India Rose and 11-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan. The actor said about his children's current mentality, "Now they're like, 'Oh, Dad, stop this!' Actually, they're teenagers now, to them I'm just their father, not a superhero."
Professional busyness
The actor, known for 'The Cabin in the Woods' and 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,' recently released his film 'Crime 101' on February 13. The film, directed by Burt Layton, stars Chris Hemsworth, Monica Barbaro, Barry Keoghan and Halle Berry in important roles.
