What Khaleda Zia said to Baby Nazneen before going to jail

The death of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia has cast a shadow of grief on social media. People from different walks of life have expressed their condolences. Stars of the showbiz industry were not left out of this. Expressing their grief over the death of Khaleda Zia, the Chairperson's advisor and musician Baby Nazneen said, "The people of Bangladesh will always feel the emptiness of a leader like Begum Khaleda Zia."
Baby Nazneen said, "The last thing I talked to her was before she went to jail. I was with her at that time. She put her hand on my head and said, 'I am going, you be well.'"
She said in a tearful voice, "She (Khaleda Zia) said, 'You save the country, save the people.' I saw in her a slow and steady but strong demeanor. She walked to jail. I will never forget this scene."
Earlier on Tuesday (December 30), Khaleda Zia died while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital at around 6 am. Begum Khaleda Zia was admitted to the hospital on November 23 with breathing difficulties due to a lung infection. Then she developed pneumonia, along with old problems of kidney, liver, arthritis and diabetes. After being admitted to the hospital, she was taken to the hospital's intensive care unit (ICU) as her physical condition deteriorated.
Born in Dinajpur on August 15, 1946, this leader took office as the country's first female Prime Minister in 1991. Khaleda Zia, who served as Prime Minister for three terms, is the name of a long and eventful chapter in the political history of Bangladesh.
