March 14: How much is a 22-carat gold bar?

The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of gold in the country's market again. According to the new decision, the price of 22-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 2,683 to Tk 2,62,265 per bar.

In a statement on Saturday (March 14), BAJUS said that the new price has come into effect from 10 am. BAJUS said that the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation due to the decrease in the price of pure gold in the local market.

Earlier, on Friday, the price of 22-carat gold was reduced by Tk 2,158 to Tk 2,64,948 per bar.
