Bad news about winter, there is a possibility of rain

Although the intensity of winter has decreased across the country including Dhaka, the situation in the northern region is different. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has given bad news. The agency says that rain may also occur in some parts of Rangpur in the next 24 hours from 6 pm today.

The weather forecast given on Wednesday (January 28) said that the weather across the country may remain dry with temporarily cloudy skies in the next 24 hours. However, there is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in Rangpur division. In addition, the temperature may increase slightly across the country at night.

The agency said that the extended part of the subcontinental high pressure area is located in West Bengal and adjacent areas. The normal low pressure of the season is located in the south Bay of Bengal, an extended part of it extends to the northeast Bay of Bengal.

Due to this, light to moderate fog may fall in some places in the country from late night to morning in the next 24 hours. Along with this, the night temperature may increase slightly across the country and the day temperature may remain almost unchanged.
