Remittances came in 990 million dollars in 11 days

During the 11 days of the current October, expatriate income came in at 986.71 million dollars. Which is about 1224 million taka in Bangladeshi currency at a rate of 121.75 taka per dollar.
Bangladesh Bank released this information on Sunday (October 12). The high trend of expatriate income continues in October as well.
On the 11th day of October, expatriates sent 897.82 million dollars every day. In October of the previous year, expatriate income came in at 798.36 million dollars every day. And in September of the previous month, expatriates sent remittances of 895.29 million dollars every day.
A review of the data on expatriate income sent in the 11 days shows that 201.12 million dollars came through state-owned commercial banks; 102.97 million dollars came through the state-owned specialized Bangladesh Krishi Bank; and 684.08 million dollars came through private commercial banks. And in Bangladesh, 30 lakh 40 thousand dollars came through foreign banks in business, 12 thousand 24 crore taka (121.75 taka per dollar).
