Just seven days ago, 24-carat gold was 452.25 dirhams and 22-carat 418.75 dirhams in the Dubai market. In the Indian market, 24-carat gold was sold at 11,869 rupees per gram and 22-carat 10,880 rupees on Friday morning.

The price of gold in the world market is still above $ 3,800 per ounce. The Federal Reserve's policy expectations and geopolitical uncertainty have kept this price.

Analyst Rania Gulley said investors are expecting the US to cut interest rates earlier. This will reduce real profits, but demand for gold will increase. At the same time, the US government shutdown crisis and global tensions have pushed investors towards safe havens.

Shamlal Ahmed of Malabar Gold and Diamonds said that gold prices have increased by 85 percent in the last 21 months. Of this, 37 percent increased in 2024 alone. He believes that the price could touch $5,000 per ounce in the next few years.

According to market experts, those who have already invested are in no hurry to sell now. However, new buyers should buy selectively. Because in the future, US jobs data and the Federal Reserve's policy decisions will determine the next direction of gold.
