AL looted thousands of crores of taka from fertilizer factories: Moin Khan

BNP standing committee member and former minister Dr. Abdul Moin Khan said that the Awami League government was so looted and corrupt that it demolished two functioning fertilizer factories in Narsingdi and built one. They looted thousands of crores of taka to build it. They demolished the two functioning fertilizer factories due to corruption and brought a project to build a new fertilizer factory. They turned Palash, a famous industrial area, into a desert.
.He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a workers' rally organized by the Ghorashal-Palash Fertilizer PLC Employees Union in Palash, Narsingdi on Sunday (October 12) afternoon.

Moin Khan said that people were cheated during the inauguration of the Ghorashal-Palash Urea Fertilizer Project. They showed the inauguration of the factory by bringing fertilizer from another fertilizer factory instead of bringing it into production.

He said, "To make Bangladesh truly productive, corruption must be stopped. If corruption is not stopped, Bangladesh cannot progress."

Moin Khan said, "The autocratic Awami League government was forced to leave and flee in the July-August movement of 24th. We want to promise that, God willing, if BNP can form a government in Bangladesh under the leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman through a fair election in the future, we will eliminate the disparity between the rich and the poor and ensure the fair rights of every person."
