Islamic Movement to fight for victory in all 300 seats: Charmonai Pir

Islami Andolan Bangladesh will fight for victory in all 300 seats, said the party's Ameer and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim. He said, after the July coup, a new political reality has been created in the country, the election field is now open for everyone. The people of the country have a unique expectation for Islam - at such a time, the Islamic Andolan is preparing for victory in every seat in Bangladesh.

He said this in his speech as the president at an emergency meeting at the party's central office in Paltan in the capital on Wednesday afternoon.

Charmonai Pir said, we will continue the movement until the last day demanding the implementation of the PR system. Because there is no alternative to PR to implement the aspirations of July. However, we will also continue to prepare for the FTPT system as an alternative system. Our goal is 300 seats. Discussions are also underway on coalition politics, but the time has not yet come to decide who will be the candidate for which seat.

He further said, "The government must work in this sequence of reforms, trials and elections. Under no circumstances can the country be allowed to return to the previous situation."

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Islamic Movement, Principal Hafez Maulana Yunus Ahmad, Presidium Member Principal Maulana Syed Mosaddek Billah Al Madani, Professor Ashraf Ali Akon, Professor Mahbubur Rahman, Joint Secretary General Maulana Gazi Ataur Rahman, Engineer Muhammad Ashraful Alam, Hafez Maulana Fazle Bari Masud, Maulana Muhammad Imtiaz Alam, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Ahmed Abdul Qayyum, Organizing Secretary Shah Iftekhar Tariq, Publicity and Dawah Affairs Secretary Hafez Maulana Sheikh Fazlul Karim Maruf, Office Secretary Maulana Lokman Hossain Jafri, Training Secretary Maulana Nurul Karim Akram, Education and Culture Secretary Mufti Kefayetullah Kashfi and other central leaders.
