Cockroach Janata Party calls for movement again in India

The Cockroach Janata Party of India has announced that it will once again take to the streets of Delhi on September 5, alleging that the promises made by the Centre have not been fulfilled. After withdrawing its protest at Jantar Mantar for almost a month, the party clarified its position again on Wednesday (August 26). They announced that there will be a peaceful procession from India Gate to the Delhi Police headquarters.

Cockroach Janata Party claims that the Centre had promised to fulfill four demands before withdrawing the Jantar Mantar sit-in. But three important demands have not been met yet. These include financial compensation to the families of students who committed suicide due to the NEET scam, withdrawal of cases filed against the protesters, action taken in the lathicharge on the protesters, and an apology from the Delhi Police and the riot police.

In a message on social media on Wednesday, the Cockroach Janata Party said that it is having to walk the path of movement again as the promise has not been fulfilled. The party's message is that everything will be remembered. It also gave a message to be ready for cockroaches.

Not only the three demands, the Cockroach Janata Party has also complained that 11 more questions raised by the government have not been answered. They say that the questions are being avoided day after day. As a result, the demand for accountability is becoming stronger.

During the Jantar Mantar movement, one of the main demands of the Cockroach Janata Party was the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, taking responsibility for the NEET scam. Dharmendra Pradhan resigned on July 25. After that, the party leadership held a meeting with the Center. After the meeting, it was informed that the government had promised to fulfill all four demands. The dharna was called off based on that assurance. But now the party alleges that the Center has not acted as promised.

Meanwhile, there is uncertainty over the permission of Delhi Police for the September 5 procession. According to police sources, the Cockroach Janata Party has not yet sought permission for the procession. It is learnt that even if permission is sought, permission will not be given for the gathering at India Gate.

Police said that India Gate is not a place for protest. A large number of people gather there every day. As a result, a large gathering may create law and order problems. There is also a risk of disruption to traffic.

However, despite the uncertainty over police objections or permission, the Cockroach Janata Party has not given any indication of backing out of the September 5 program.

The organization is also continuing its agitation in other parts of the country with various demands. They have started the 'School Fix' program since August 15 demanding infrastructure development in rural government schools. The party has also alleged that their representatives were attacked while visiting schools in Rajasthan.

After the organization's founder Abhijit Deepke and joint convener Ashutosh Ranka, now national convener Sourav Das is also at risk of being attacked, Deepke jokingly said. He said that they came back even after being beaten. He also commented that it will be Sourav's turn now.
