Israeli fire kills Palestinian teenager in Gaza amid ceasefire

A Palestinian teenager was killed by Israeli forces during the ceasefire in Gaza, Palestine. The incident took place on Saturday (December 13) in Jabalia, northern Gaza, a local medical source said. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, although the ceasefire has been in effect since October 10, Israel has been violating it almost daily and hundreds of Palestinians have already been killed in these attacks during the ceasefire. And these attacks and deaths are making the situation even more dire.

The Anadolu news agency says that the name of the teenager killed by Israeli forces is Mohammed Sabri al-Adham (18). According to medical sources, he was killed by Israeli forces in the city of Jabalia. Witnesses said Israeli forces stationed inside the ceasefire line in northern Gaza opened fire from outside their area of ​​control, causing the casualties.

In separate incidents, Israeli helicopters fired indiscriminately in the eastern areas of Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza. However, witnesses said no one was injured in these incidents.

In addition, the Israeli army carried out airstrikes and heavy artillery shelling in several areas of Gaza on Saturday. At the same time, locals said that demolition of the remaining parts of residential buildings was also underway. According to the latest figures from the Gaza Health Ministry, 383 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,000 injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire was in effect.

More than 70,300 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 2023, most of them women and children. More than 171,000 people have been injured. Although the ceasefire is in effect, these attacks have not completely stopped.
