House Oversight Committee Democrats have released more photos of Jeffrey Epstein, including Donald Trump.
Nineteen more photos found at the home owned by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have been released. Three of the photos, released on Friday (December 12), show US President Donald Trump, sparking fresh controversy.
The new photos were released by Democratic members of the US House Oversight Committee as the deadline for the release of documents related to convicted sex offender Epstein approaches. According to their statement, they are currently reviewing more than 95,000 photos recovered from Epstein's various properties.
One of the three photos released is black and white. It shows Trump standing smiling with several women, but the women's faces are hidden. The second photo shows Trump standing next to Epstein. In the third photo, Trump is sitting next to a woman, the image is blurry and the woman's face is also hidden. Trump's red tie is seen hanging loosely.
There is no clear information about when and where the photos were taken. In response to questions from reporters at the White House after the new photos were released, Trump said, "Everyone knew Epstein and he had free access to the Palm Beach area. In his words, there are pictures of Epstein with a lot of people, so there is no reason to see it as a big deal."
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said in this regard, "The Trump administration has taken much more effective steps than the Democrats in helping Epstein's victims." She complained that the Democrats' statements are repeatedly highlighted in the media. The question should be: Why were Democrats so keen to spend time with Epstein even after his conviction?’
The Epstein scandal has been a political embarrassment for Trump for months. Trump himself has played a role in this complication, as he was the one who once spread various conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein among his supporters.
Epstein’s hanging body was found in a prison cell in 2019. Authorities later said he had committed suicide. In July, the US Justice Department said there was not enough evidence to open an investigation into the incident that any third party was involved. According to the Justice Department, they did not find any ‘client lists’, names of people involved in sex trafficking, or evidence of blackmailing anyone.
Trump was friends with Epstein from the 1990s to the early 2000s. Trump claims that their relationship ended before Epstein was convicted of child sexual abuse. He has repeatedly said he knew nothing about the sexual abuse or trafficking of underage girls.
