No talks with Iran: Trump

US President Donald Trump has said that there are no talks with Iran at the moment and no meetings are scheduled in the future.
In a post on Truth Social, he said that the US naval blockade on Iran is currently “fully in force and effective”. He claimed that the Strait of Hormuz is still “open and operational” and that the mines in the waterway have either been “removed or detonated”.
His latest comments appear to be a major shift in his previous position. Just a day earlier, he claimed that the US was holding back-channel talks with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). However, Tehran flatly rejected his claim.
