In a telephone interview with Axios, Trump said, "We are only partially or nominally negotiating with them. We are only observing the situation in Iran. There is massive inflation there and they have no money." He said, "Everything will be fine. In the end, there is always a solution. It is a bit like a game of chess.’

However, Tehran has maintained its adamant stance that it will not hold any talks if Washington continues to violate the initial agreement reached in June. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that there are currently no talks between Iran and the United States. He said that there is no possibility of resuming talks until the US resolves the issues of mutual understanding and compensates for the violation of the memorandum of understanding. However, Araghchi acknowledged the exchange of information through mediators.

The Dawn Online reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi spoke to the mediator country, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, on Monday. They discussed ‘peace and stability’ in the context of the Iran war.

More than 20 US warships in the Middle East: The United States has announced that it will deploy more than 20 warships in the Middle East.
