Bangladesh to face Pakistan in semi-finals

Bangladesh will face Pakistan in the semi-finals. Bangladesh has reached the semi-finals of the Under-17 Championship by beating Nepal and Sri Lanka.

The semi-final line-up has been finalized after the India-Pakistan match on Monday. Bangladesh will play against Pakistan, while India's opponent is Nepal.

India defeated Pakistan 3-2 in the fateful match of Group 'B' of the tournament underway in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Despite coming from behind twice and drawing twice, Pakistan could not save its life. The group positions of the two teams that had already secured semi-finals were determined in this match.

India is the 'B' Group champion with 9 points after winning all three of the three matches. Pakistan is the group runner-up with 6 points. Bangladesh is the 'A' Group champion, so it will face 'B' Group runner-up Pakistan in the semi-finals.

Bangladesh and Pakistan will play in the first semi-final in the afternoon on September 25 at the Racecourse Stadium in Colombo. India and Nepal will face each other in the second semi-final in the evening. The tournament final is on September 27.
