Tripti Dimri has been in the news ever since her eye-catching performance in Sandeep Reddy Bhangar's 'Animal'. She shared the story of her journey and struggle in Bollywood in a recent interview with Filmfare.
When asked how difficult it is to get work as an outsider in the industry, Tripti said, "Actually, the challenge is the same for everyone. Initially, I used to give three-four auditions a day for about one and a half years. Auditions make me more nervous than standing in front of the camera, because there I have to portray the character in one or two takes. I have to bring the character to life in front of so many people with less briefing.
She also said, "After that, when I get a job, another new responsibility comes. I have to always maintain novelty in my work, so that the audience does not get bored. I also do not get tired of performing. I consider this a blessing, because many talented people have not yet got the opportunity."
Tripti made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with the film Poster Boys, starring Sunny and Bobby Deol and directed by Shreyas Talpar. Later, she acted in Laila-Majnu, Bulbul and Kala. Her big break in her career came when she appeared as a supporting actress in Animal. She was last seen in Dharma Productions' Dhadak 2, which has already been released on Netflix.
