UAE crushes Oman by 130 runs in 18.4 overs

UAE crushed Oman by 130 runs in 18.4 overs. The hosts of the tournament won the seventh match of the 17th edition of the Asia Cup by 42 runs.

UAE batted first after losing the toss at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday. Batting first, Emirates posted a challenging score of 172 runs for 5 wickets. Captain Mohammad Wasim top-scored with 69 runs for the team. Alishan Sharfu scored 51 runs.

Chasing a challenging score, Oman got bowled out for 130 runs in 18.4 overs after being distracted by Junaid Siddiqui's pace. Aryan top-scored with 24 runs for the team.

The two teams played their second match today. UAE lost their first match against India by 9 wickets after being bowled out for 57 runs. Today, they defeated Oman and returned to victory.

On the other hand, Oman, chasing a target of 161 runs against Pakistan in their first match, were all out for 67 runs and lost by a huge margin of 93 runs. They lost the second match today as well.
