AB de Villiers seems to be reliving his prime every day in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) — dazzling either with the bat or in the field. In the final, it was his batting brilliance that stole the show. Despite suffering a hamstring injury during the match, he played a breathtaking innings, scoring a century off just 47 balls.

Riding on his explosive knock, South Africa Champions chased down Pakistan's imposing total of 196 runs, winning by 9 wickets with 19 balls to spare to lift the WCL title.

In the final held on Saturday, de Villiers smashed an unbeaten 120 off 60 deliveries against Pakistan Champions, guiding his side to a commanding 9-wicket win.

He reached his century in just 47 balls, hitting 12 fours and 7 sixes in a vintage ‘360-degree’ batting performance. With cool composure, dazzling timing, and masterful shot selection, even the massive 196-run target looked easy.

Midway through his innings, de Villiers suffered a hamstring strain and needed medical attention. But he didn’t leave the field. Instead, he fought through the pain and saw his team through to a triumphant finish.

He was well-supported by JP Duminy, who remained unbeaten on 50 off 28 balls. The match ended with 19 balls to spare, underlining South Africa's dominance.

Unsurprisingly, de Villiers was named both Player of the Match and Player of the Series, having scored a staggering 429 runs throughout the tournament.

Earlier, Pakistan Champions won the toss and opted to bat first. Sharjeel Khan led the way with a blistering 76 off 44 balls, while Umar Amin, Shoaib Malik, and Asif Ali contributed quickfire cameos to post a competitive total of 195 runs.

However, all those efforts were ultimately overshadowed by de Villiers' masterclass, as South Africa Champions cruised to a memorable title win.
