Pakistan gets good news after whitewashing Sri Lanka

Pakistan whitewashed Sri Lanka in the recently concluded three-match ODI series at home. Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi's team won the three-match ODI series against South Africa 2-1. The men in green have strengthened their position in the rankings by winning two consecutive series.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest updated ODI rankings on Monday (November 17). Where Pakistan's rating points have increased by 105. However, their position has not changed. Pakistan is still at number four. Overall, they are now breathing down Australia's neck.
India is at the top of the ODI rankings with 122 rating points. New Zealand, at number two, has 112 rating points. Australia, at number three, has 109 rating points. Sri Lanka is at number five with 100 rating points. South Africa, at number six, has 98 rating points. Afghanistan is at number seven with 95 rating points.
England is at number eight with 86 rating points. West Indies is at number nine with 78 rating points. Bangladesh is at number 10 with 76 rating points. Zimbabwe and Ireland are at 11th and 12th with 54 and 52 rating points respectively.
It is worth noting that Pakistan dominated all three matches in the Sri Lanka series. In the first ODI, Pakistan won by 6 runs with Salman Ali Agar's century. In the second ODI, Pakistan easily chased down the target of 289 with 8 wickets in hand with Babar Azam's century. In the last ODI, they won by 6 wickets with Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan's fifties.
