Man stabbed in back inside Greenwich Village McDonald’s

The stabbing apparenty happened during a dispute inside the location on Broadway.
GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A 23-year-old man was stabbed during a dispute inside a McDonalds in Greenwich Village.

The victim was stabbed in the back inside the restaurant on Broadway just after 2:45 a.m. on Thursday.He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.A man wearing all black clothing fled on foot. No arrests have been made.

Then, just a few hours later in the East Village, another man was slashed at St. Marks Place and 2nd Avenue.A 44-year-old man suffered a slash wound to his right hand.

He was also taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

It's not yet known if the incidents are connected to the same suspect.
