LP gas price hike

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has increased for the current month of December. The price of a 12 kg LP gas cylinder has been increased by Tk 38 to Tk 1,253 at the consumer level.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price of LP gas on Tuesday (December 02). The new price will be effective from the evening.

In addition, the price of autogas has been increased from Tk 55.58 to Tk 57.32.

Earlier, BERC had adjusted the price of LP gas on November 2. At that time, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was reduced by Tk 26 to Tk 1,215. Along with this, the price of autogas was reduced by Tk 1.19 at the consumer level on the same day. As a result, after the latest adjustment, the price of autogas including VAT is currently set at Tk 55.58 per liter.
