The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of gold in the country's market for the fourth time in a row. The last time the price was increased was by 5,248 taka in one go on Thursday (November 13). This has increased the price of gold per bhori by a total of 13,623 taka in four consecutive rounds.

The price of a 22-carat bhori gold has been increased by 5,248 taka on Thursday and set at 213,719 taka. Gold will be bought and sold at this new price in the country's market from Friday (November 14).

Earlier, BAJUS had increased the price of gold in the country's market for the third time on November 11. At that time, the price of 22-carat bhori was increased by 4,188 taka and set at 218,471 taka.

According to the new price, the current price of 22-carat bhori (11.664 grams) of gold in the country's market will be 213,719 taka. In addition, the price of gold per 21-carat bori will be 2 lakh 4 thousand 3 taka, 1 lakh 74 thousand 855 taka for 18-carat bori and 1 lakh 45 thousand 520 taka for traditional method.

In total, Bajus has adjusted the price of gold in the domestic market a total of 76 times so far this year. Where the price has been increased 53 times, and the price has decreased only 23 times. On the other hand, last year, the price of gold was adjusted a total of 62 times in the domestic market. Where the price was increased 35 times. In addition, the price of gold was reduced 27 times last year.
