Work to restore democracy will begin after this government leaves: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has demanded the resignation of the Narendra Modi government ahead of a protest program at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. In a post on social media, he said, "This government must go."

In a post on X on Saturday (October 10) morning, Rahul Gandhi wrote, 'Gyanesh Kumar must leave. This government must also leave. Only after this will the work of restoring democracy begin.'   

Rahul Gandhi's statement came in the wake of a protest organised by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Delhi's Jantar Mantar today demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India, Gyanesh Kumar.
