A 20-year-old man was beaten, shot and killed with a stone in Nanded, Maharashtra, India. It is alleged that the family members of the deceased's girlfriend killed him. Angered by such an incident in her family, a young woman named Aanchal tied the knot with her boyfriend's corpse.

According to a report by Indian media NDTV, Aanchal met the young man named Saksham Tate through her brothers. Due to regular visits to Tate's house, the acquaintance eventually turned into love. However, Aanchal's family refused to accept this relationship. They objected to the ethnic differences between the two families. But despite various threats, Aanchal continued her relationship with Tate.

Last Thursday, Aanchal's brothers and father came to know that the two were going to get married. As soon as they heard this news, they tracked down Tate. Then he brutally beat her, shot her in the head and crushed her to death with stones.

Shocked by the brutality of her parents and brothers, Anchal reached Tate's house during the last rites. She smeared turmeric on the body and put vermilion on her forehead. In this way, she consummated her marriage with her dead lover.

Then the young woman announced that she would remain in Tate's house as his wife for the rest of her life. Anchal said, "Our love has won, even though Sahni is dead, our love lives on. My father and brothers have lost." He demanded exemplary justice for Tate's killers.
