Trump: One or Two More Targets in Iran Remain to be Struck

US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States has destroyed a significant portion of Iran's military capabilities. However, he noted that one or two key sites in the country remain to be targeted—including a suspected underground nuclear facility known as "Pickaxe Mountain." This is according to a report by Gulf News.
Trump made these remarks while speaking to reporters at his residence in Florida on Saturday (February 28).
He stated that the US has dismantled a large part of Iran's military power and nuclear program, adding that the remaining targets could be struck on very short notice.
"We have destroyed their nuclear capabilities," Trump said. "There are still one or two sites left, but we could strike them within just 10 minutes if we wanted to."
Referring to the suspected underground nuclear facility, "Pickaxe Mountain," he added, "You might be thinking of Pickaxe Mountain—we still have to deal with that. We can get these things done very quickly."
At the same time, Trump mentioned that discussions are underway to end the conflict with Iran. He described the talks as progressing reasonably well, though he noted that it is difficult to place trust in Iran.
"The talks are going well," Trump said, "but as you know, they aren't exactly the most reliable."
He further noted that Iran's military and nuclear capabilities have been significantly weakened, so the United States is in no rush to launch further military operations.
It should be noted that a state of war has persisted in Iran since the onset of aggression by the United States and Israel in late February of this year. Meanwhile, the Iranian government has denied that any nuclear activities are being conducted at the "Pickaxe Mountain" site.
