Calling the Axios report 'fake', the US president also wrote, 'Like many other reports, the Axios report is a hoax, published primarily to satisfy the anti-Trump mentality.'

Earlier, a senior Axios reporter published a report citing Trump administration officials, which said that Donald Trump is making strong efforts to end the ongoing war with Iran.

The news also claims that the United States wants assurances that Iran will stop its nuclear program. In exchange, US President Trump is willing to temporarily lift sanctions on the country and release seized assets.
