A British woman, Lucy Harrison (23), was shot dead by her father in Texas over a political argument over US President Donald Trump.

This shocking information has emerged from an inquest that recently began at Cheshire Corners Court in England. The deceased Lucy Harrison was a resident of Warrington, Cheshire. She was involved in the accident while visiting her father's house in Prosper, near Dallas, Texas, on January 10 last year.

At the hearing, Lucy's boyfriend, Sam Littler, said that on the morning of the incident, Lucy had a huge argument with her father, Chris Harrison, about Donald Trump's second term and his controversial actions. At one point in the argument, Lucy asked her father how her father would feel if Lucy herself had been in the place of a woman assaulted by Trump. In response, Chris Harrison sneered, saying that he had two other daughters, so he wouldn't be too upset about it. Lucy was very hurt by her father's comment and burst into tears.

The investigation revealed that Lucy and her boyfriend were supposed to go to the airport that afternoon. Just half an hour before departure, Chris Harrison took his daughter by the hand and took her to the bedroom to show her his newly purchased 'Glock 9mm' semi-automatic handgun. Just 15 seconds later, a loud gunshot was heard. Lucy's boyfriend entered the room and saw Lucy lying on the floor in a pool of blood and Chris screaming like crazy.

The court heard that Chris Harrison was already in rehab for alcohol problems. On the day of the accident, he was emotional and drank about 500 milliliters of alcohol again.

Police officer Luciana Escalera said that when he arrived at the scene, a strong odor of alcohol was detected on Chris's breath. CCTV footage also showed him buying alcohol shortly before the incident. A Texas grand jury has not indicted Chris Harrison, a decision that has angered Lucy's family.

However, Chris Harrison said in a statement that he will carry the burden of this mistake for the rest of his life. Meanwhile, Lucy's mother, Jane Coates, described her daughter as a "spirited and sensitive person" and said Lucy loved to speak out against injustice.
