’Dictatorship’ cannot exist in football

FIFA President Infantino wanted to sell the World Cup during the football World Cup. Infantino had to back down from that decision due to strong opposition from the European Football Federation (UEFA).
Infantino has repeatedly faced criticism for his transparency. In the last 10 days, world football and FIFA have been in trouble due to Infantino's various actions.
Infantino called an emergency meeting in Morocco after the opposition to selling the World Cup began. Several of the 37 members of the committee were not at the meeting. The rest discussed it quietly among themselves. Then they said that there was no opacity on the part of the FIFA president. He just could not convince everyone properly.
Later, in a statement, FIFA said, 'Everyone agreed that there was no attempt to do anything without informing the FIFA Council or members. Everything was at the proposal level. But that proposal has been withdrawn.’
However, no one on the FIFA Council knew that Infantino had been planning to sell the ownership of the World Cup for almost a year. So what transparency? But even after that, the countries that supported Infantino did not raise any questions. They did not express any doubts.
