Artists Association elections at nightfall, which positions are the stars running for?

Voting will be held from 9 am to 6 pm at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) premises in the capital. Two panels are competing in this election.

Fight director and actor Arman has been nominated for the post of president in one panel and Rumana Islam Mukti for the post of general secretary. Nutan and Ilias Kobra are the vice-presidents in this panel. Rina Khan is the deputy general secretary, Chunnu is the organizing secretary, MA Parvez Chowdhury Abir is the international affairs secretary, Russell Mia is the office and publicity secretary, Maruf Aqib is the culture and sports secretary, and Kamal is the treasurer.

Manas Banerjee, Dulari, Raka, Sharmin Akhtar, Latif (Cheetah), Nasrin, Sushant, Shaheen Comedy, Badal Sheikh, Armaan Khan and Shamim Khan (Chikon Ali) are contesting for the post of executive council member of this panel.

On the other hand, Shiva Sanu is contesting for the post of president in the second panel and Joy Chowdhury is contesting for the post of general secretary. Rozina and DA Tayeb are contesting for the post of vice-president. Subrata is contesting for the post of deputy general secretary, Soni Rahman is contesting for the post of organizing secretary, Polly is contesting for the post of international affairs secretary, Jackie Alamgir is contesting for the post of office and publicity secretary, Mosafkul Jamil Kakon is contesting for the post of culture and sports secretary and Jadu Azad is contesting for the post of treasurer.

Ali Raj, Farhad, Kabila, Yamin Haque Bobby, Kayes Arzu, Shirin Shila, Shipon Mitra, Hasan Jahangir, Falguni Rahman Jolly, Firoz Shahi and Jasmine Akhter are contesting for the post of executive council member of this panel.

On the other hand, a total of 573 voters will exercise their voting rights in this election. Kamal Md. Kibria Lipu is serving as the Election Commissioner.
