The perfect love story of Sony and Rain in ’Man Pakhi’

A new film 'Man Pakhi' is being made about the life, love, suffering and reality of the Santal community. The story and direction of the film is by Tina Khan. Syed Masum is working as the advisory director in addition to the screenplay and dialogues.

'Man Pakhi' is a humane story centered on the life and culture of the Santal community. The story of the film will move forward through their daily lives, relationships, love, struggles, and various adversities.

The makers claim that the film is being made with the aim of going beyond the conventional story and presenting a story closer to real life to the audience.

The first batch of the movie has already been shot in several locations in different districts of the country including Tangail and Mymensingh. Many actors including Soni Rahman, Brishti Chowdhury, Jackie Alamgir, Rebecca, Amin Sarkar and many others have participated in the shooting of the first batch.

Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Fayyaz Ahmed Bobby, renowned dancer Munmun Ahmed, and several other popular artists are expected to join the next phase of shooting.

Regarding the movie, actor Soni Rahman said, "I have acted in many plays and several films in my acting career. But I have never acted in such a story before. I don't even know if there has been a movie about such a story centered on the life of the Santal community. The character is challenging for me because it is a real-life story."

He further said, "Currently, the audience is getting relatively few story-based films. As a result, many viewers have turned away from the theaters. I believe that Man Pakhi will present a different kind of story to the audience. Every character in the film is important, everyone has acted very well, and an effort is being made to portray each character appropriately."

The film's cinematography is being handled by National Film Award-winning cinematographer Asaduzzaman Majnu. The action scenes are being directed by Delwar Hossain Chunnu, and the music is being composed by Shawkat Ali Emon.
