Son Sanjay wants father Vijay and Statham in his dream Hollywood movie

Jason Sanjay, son of one of the top stars of Indian Tamil cinema and the Chief Minister of the state, Thalapathy Vijay, has shared an incredible dream. The budding young director has said that if his dream Hollywood project is made, renowned action icon Jason Statham will act opposite his father Vijay.

In an interview given to ‘Behindwoods TV’, Jason Sanjay was asked – if Hollywood action star Jason Statham wants to work with someone from Tamil cinema, who will he choose?

Without thinking for a moment, Jason Sanjay replied, ‘My father (Vijay). It will be a great collaboration.’

While talking about his comment, he joked that his answer will surely give rise to a lot of trolls and memes on social media.

When asked why he chose to direct films instead of acting despite being the son of a Tamil superstar, Jason Sanjay said that growing up on film sets since childhood helped shape his thinking.

He said, "I had the opportunity to go to shooting sets since childhood. It was a special privilege or privilege, you could say. I felt comfortable there. I made going to shooting sets a natural part of my life. And from there, my interest in films was sparked."

However, that was not the film that I had wanted to work in from the beginning. Jason Sanjay said, "First, I wanted to be a pilot. In the meantime, I also wanted to be a cricketer. When I was in eleventh and twelfth grade, I developed an inclination towards films. Then, when I was in college, I decided that I would learn film production or directing."

Jason also said that his real passion was telling stories and writing them down. So, he never had a special attraction towards acting. He chose his own path after completing his higher education in filmmaking in Canada.

It is worth noting that Jason Sanjay is going to make his directorial debut with the film 'Sigma' starring Sandeep Kishan. The film was earlier scheduled to release on July 31, but its release has been postponed.
