Entertainment industry mourns Khaleda Zia’s death

Not only the political arena, but also the country's entertainment industry has been saddened by the death of Begum Khaleda Zia.
A deep sense of grief has descended across the country following the death of BNP Chairperson and three-time former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The uncompromising political leader breathed her last at 6 am on Tuesday (December 30) while undergoing treatment at the capital's Evercare Hospital. Not only the political arena, but the country's entertainment industry has also been saddened by her death. Actors and producers are remembering Khaleda Zia in emotional messages on social media.

Even the good stars see Begum Khaleda Zia's death as the end of an era. Dhakai cinema superstar Shakib Khan has expressed his condolences on the death of the actor. In a Facebook post, the actor wrote, "I express my deep condolences on the death of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. I pray for the eternal peace of her soul and offer my condolences to the bereaved family."
Actress Apu Biswas paid tribute and wrote, "The eternal farewell of Khaleda Zia as the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh will remain indelible in history. The departure of a great woman left a deep impression on the hearts of the people of the country." Actress Shabnam Bubli wrote in her post, wishing the soul of Khaleda Zia peace, that her contribution as the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh will be remembered forever. Producer Ashfaq Nipun wrote, "You were a symbol of patience, nobility and not giving up. You have upheld yourself even in the face of the inhumane behavior of the opposition. This nation will remember you with pride." Actress Nusrat Faria wrote, "Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un. May Allah forgive her and grant her Jannatul Firdous." Actress Siam Ahmed and actress Pooja Cherry released a picture of Khaleda Zia and prayed for the forgiveness of her departed soul.

Actress Sadia Jahan Prabha wrote, Khaleda Zia will be immortalized in history as an 'uncompromising leader' for not leaving the country despite enduring imprisonment and oppression as the first female Prime Minister.
In addition, actresses Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Ashna Habib Bhavana and many other stars have remembered the glorious memory of Khaleda Zia becoming the first female Prime Minister and prayed for the peace of her soul. It is worth noting that Begum Khaleda Zia had been undergoing treatment in the ICU of Evercare Hospital since November 23. Born in Dinajpur on August 15, 1946, this leader took office as the country's first female Prime Minister in 1991. Khaleda Zia, who served as Prime Minister for three terms, is the name of a long and eventful chapter in the political history of Bangladesh.
