Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's children Samaira and Kiaan have raised new allegations against Sanjay Kapoor's third wife Priya regarding the will of late businessman Sanjay Kapoor. On the other hand, Priya's lawyer Rajiv Nair responded to the allegations and said that there is no legal basis to challenge the will. It was prepared completely legally.

According to Hindustan Times, during the hearing of the case in the Delhi High Court on Wednesday (October 15), Rajiv Nair said that this case is not a probate proceeding. The petitioners have not made any application to cancel the will in their petition. No will is invalid just by showing a spelling or address mistake.

He also said, "In my 45 years of legal career, I have never seen any will declared invalid due to spelling mistakes or proximity of witnesses. If it was fake, there would have been no mistake. Priya Kapoor is an investment banker. She would write her child's name wrong, it is unbelievable." Rajiv Nair further said that this is basically a wife vs wife case. Naturally, priority will be given to the current wife and not to Sanjay's past. The facts and evidence of the will have been presented properly.

Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor's two children, Samaira and Kiaan Kapoor, have alleged that their father Sanjay's will was forged by Priya Sachdev and their share of the inheritance has been excluded from it. On the other hand, Priya has appealed to the court to allow her to submit the details of her late husband's assets in a 'sealed envelope' and not in public.

Incidentally, Indian businessman and chairman of Sona Comstar, Sanjay Kapoor, died of a heart attack during a polo match in London in June this year. He married Karisma Kapoor in 2003 and they divorced in 2016. Later, in 2017, he married Priya Sachdev.
