You jailed Khaleda Zia for no reason, Hasina, we have not forgotten: Zainul Abdin

BNP Chairperson's Advisor and former Opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Faruk said, 'You jailed my leader Begum Khaleda Zia for no reason, Hasina, you broke the spine of leader Tarique Rahman - we have not forgotten. People who could not vote for 16 years will vote with a grain of rice once they get a chance and make BNP win.'

He said these things in a short speech before the BNP's leaflet distribution program at Nateshwar Union in Sonaimuri Upazila of Noakhali on Monday (October 20) morning.

The program organized by Nateshwar Union BNP at the local Dighirjan Bazar was organized.

The meeting was chaired by BNP's former Upazila Industrial Affairs Secretary Jahangir Alam and moderated by Qutub Uddin Sani. During the program, leaflets containing the '31-point demands for repairing the state structure' announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman were distributed among the people.

He also said, 'Hasina has used the police to create a mirror house and jailed one lakh BNP leaders and activists. BNP gave Hasina an opportunity to do politics. But Hasina withdrew from the alliance after seven days and ended everything by conspiring with Ershad.'

The leaders of the upazila, union, municipality BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations were present at the program.
