Egypt wants to build a military force like NATO, which will be led by Cairo. Saudi Arabia will also be with it. This special force will respond immediately if any Arab country is attacked by an external enemy. The news of the formation of a military alliance of Arab countries has emerged in various Arab media outlets amid tensions with Israel.

Basically, NATO is considered the largest military alliance in the world. Through which European countries are united. This special defense agreement protects most of the countries of Europe like an invisible shield. Recently, a proposal has been made by Egypt - to unite Arab countries and build a military alliance like NATO.

Recently, several reports on the matter have emerged in various Arab media outlets including Al-Akhbar, Al-Quds, Ma'an. It is said that Cairo wants to build a military force similar to the NATO alliance. A name has already been proposed. The news comes amid tensions with Israel over the attack on Qatar.

The reports also say that this rapid reaction force will be deployed to any Arab country under threat. If a country is attacked, it will respond immediately. According to NATO's Article Five, the alliance countries are protected just like that.

Egypt will initially send about 20,000 soldiers to the special force. This is being reported by the media, citing government sources in the country. Saudi Arabia is also being mentioned as a major partner in the plan. In this regard, Egypt's Sisi government is pressuring the administrations of the relevant countries.

It should be noted that this initiative to build a joint Arab force is not new. Egypt had come forward with such a plan a decade ago. Although it did not see the light of day, the issue has now come up for discussion again after Israel's attack on Qatar.
