Iran will not make a deal on US conditions

The US wants to make a deal with Iran under pressure. But Tehran is not agreeing to such a deal. This has been made clear from a statement by US President Donald Trump himself.

On Friday local time, he told reporters at the White House that talks are underway between the US and Iran to end the conflict. However, Tehran is not ready to make a deal yet.

The news agency Reuters reported this. Trump is making these comments at a time when the US is repeatedly targeting civilian facilities such as roads, railways, and bridges in Iran.

Earlier, Tehran and Washington agreed to a 60-day agreement in Switzerland. A few days later, Trump broke the agreement and began attacking Iran.

China and Russia have always been on Iran's side in wars. In this situation, Trump wants those two countries not to help Iran.

On Friday, Trump said that he trusts China and Russia not to help Iran in its conflict with the US. He warned that if they get involved, “it will be very bad for them.”

He wrote on Truth Social, “President Xi told me in a recent meeting in Beijing that he would not sell or give weapons to Iran under any circumstances. Chinese companies will not sell weapons to Iran either.”

Intensification of attacks: Amid the ongoing attacks on Iran, US President Donald Trump met with his top advisers and cabinet members on Friday. During this time, they discussed escalating attacks on Iran.

The New York Times reported this on Saturday, citing four people familiar with the matter.

Trump is now facing a potential turning point in determining his strategy on Iran. The meeting took place at a time when a fragile ceasefire and a memorandum of understanding aimed at bringing the United States and Iran back to the negotiating table for long-term nuclear disarmament have collapsed.

The White House did not disclose what Trump has decided on as his next steps. However, the president has indicated that the military is ready to launch a larger attack if ordered, despite keeping the path open for a diplomatic solution.

Earlier on Thursday, in an interview with Axios, Trump said, "I am considering a major attack. It will be bigger than any attack before. I am very close to a decision. We are fully prepared for it."

He indicated that Israel would probably not participate in any new escalation. In this situation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is visiting the United States on Monday. He will meet with Trump.

The news agency AP reported that the United States has recently increased attacks on civilian infrastructure, including bridges in Iran. Although these attacks were initially in southern Iran, they are now also taking place near the capital Tehran.
