The United States has attacked more than 150 Iranian installations in the past two days. In response, Tehran is retaliating by targeting US bases in the Gulf countries. The country's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it fired 10 ballistic missiles at Jordan's Azraq military base in response to the US attack.
Citing a statement from the force, the country's state news agency Fars reported that it launched the missile attack targeting the "US command-and-control center."
The IRGC said that if the attacks continue, US bases in the Middle East will be repeatedly targeted. Jordan had earlier said that it had intercepted eight missiles fired from Iran, but no casualties or damage were reported.
Meanwhile, three IRGC members were reportedly killed in a US airstrike in Iran. The renewed US attacks have been met with counterattacks, threatening the ceasefire and permanent agreement as usual.
