Flight operations are also suspended at most airports in the United States due to weather conditions. According to the country's aviation monitoring agencies, more than 17,000 flights were canceled at various US airports on Sunday. This is the first time since the coronavirus pandemic that so many flights have been canceled in a single day in the United States.
